Description

Cudeman Skelet-One (207-H): the skeleton knife that solves the unexpected

The Cudeman Skelet-One is one of the boldest releases the brand has launched in recent years. Introduced in 2025, this model does away with handle scales entirely and adopts a full skeleton format designed to cut weight, simplify cleaning and, above all, deliver an unusual degree of versatility. The entire piece is machined from a single plate of high-performance N-695 steel, packing into a minimalist design the functions demanded by both urban use and fieldwork.

Beyond cutting, this is a genuine full-tang multi-tool in a compact format. Geared towards everyday carry (EDC), it provides mechanical solutions where an ordinary knife falls short: alongside top-tier steel, you get almost a small workshop in the palm of your hand. It is made by Cudeman in Albacete with the technical rigour that defines their workshops.

What sets it apart

  • Mechanical versatility: it combines fixed wrenches for several sizes (from 5.5 mm to 16 mm) and a 6.5 mm hexagonal/octagonal profile, so you can tighten and adjust on the go without carrying a toolbox.
  • Built-in measuring: an 8 cm ruler is engraved into its structure, handy for map work, craft or setting up a shelter.
  • Minimal weight: by dropping the handle scales, the scale stops at a remarkable 95 grams, making it easy to carry on any outing without barely noticing it.
  • Instant access: it ships solely with a quality Kydex sheath, designed for a fast, secure draw when time is short.

Steel and cutting performance

Despite its multifunction vocation, the Skelet-One is first and foremost a serious knife crafted in premium Bohler N-695 steel. Its hardness of 59/60 HRc translates into notable edge retention and solid corrosion resistance. The 8.5 cm drop-point blade, with a satin finish, tackles demanding cuts with the same ease as larger models, proof that adding functions has taken nothing away from its cutting ability.

Construction and durability

What we have here is a solid 4 mm thick block of steel. The skeleton cut-out is not purely aesthetic: it is dimensioned to retain full rigidity while shaving weight off the whole assembly. As a single piece, the weak points of joints disappear and thorough cleaning is easier after using it in dirty environments or with organic residue. It is, in short, a tool built for intensive tasks.

Grip and real control

The skeleton-style handle, measuring 11.5 cm, is surprisingly ergonomic thanks to the contouring along its entire outline. To fine-tune control during work, it features jimping on the blade spine that stops the thumb from slipping during pressure cuts. It also allows customisation: the user can wrap it with paracord to add bulk or improve grip in extreme cold conditions.

Sheath and carry

The sheath for this model has been designed to make the most of its dynamic character. Made of high-strength black Kydex, it adds an adjustable clip that adapts the carry to different belt widths or attachment systems. The Kydex keeps the knife retained even during sudden movements, without sacrificing a loose, natural draw.

Where it fits

  • EDC and urban day-to-day: ideal to carry with you and get out of a jam in the face of a mechanical hitch, opening parcels or sorting a quick bit of DIY.
  • Bushcraft and the outdoors: a lightweight steel for preparing food, measuring materials or repairing your camping gear.
  • Emergency kit: thanks to its flat profile and its range of wrenches, it fits as a permanent piece in any vehicle kit or bug-out bag.

Care and maintenance

  • It is worth cleaning it after using the wrenches so that dirt does not lodge in the cut-out openings.
  • As it is Bohler N-695 steel, a simple rinse and dry after contact with moisture keeps the satin finish flawless.
  • Its open structure accommodates a small brush to remove dust or residue from the ruler and the fixed wrenches.
  • Revive the edge with fine-grit stones and you will make the most of the good geometry of the drop-point blade.

The Cudeman Skelet-One (207-H) points towards more functional cutlery: a bold proposal, out of the Albacete workshops, that combines the strength of premium steel with the logic of a modern multi-tool. Available at Navajeria with shipping across mainland Spain.
